1st place: #11, Weightless
ReplyDeleteGreat colors, especially with coordinating colors in all elements of the photograph.Perfect exposure, directional lighting is textbook. shallow depth of field really highlights subject, and composition is perfect. it fits rule of thirds/spiral perfectly.
2nd place: #3, yellow on purple
Great color contrasts, exposure is spot on, good use of directional sunlight and composition is nice but maybe too loose (this alone is what decided between #1 and # 2, otherwise a tie!). good use of shallow depth of field too.
3rd place: #10, you go your way, ill go mine
Same positives as #1 and #2, and again composition is what decided this one for me. I think the image would benefit from cropping and straightening up just a little, but otherwise, very solid and well done. the humorous juxtaposition of the bee and butterfly were greatly appreciated.
